When Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was born and his life history

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him (PBUH), was born in the year 570 CE in the city of Mecca, in what is now present-day Saudi Arabia. He was a member of the Quraysh tribe, which was one of the prominent tribes in Mecca at that time.

Muhammad's early life was marked by several significant events. His father, Abdullah, died before he was born, and his mother, Amina, passed away when he was six years old. He was then raised by his grandfather, Abdul Muttalib, and after his grandfather's death, by his uncle, Abu Talib.

As a young man, Muhammad gained a reputation for his honesty, integrity, and wisdom. He was known as "Al-Ameen," meaning "The Trustworthy," among the people of Mecca. At the age of 25, he married a wealthy widow named Khadijah, who was 15 years older than him. They had a loving and supportive marriage, and Khadijah played a significant role in supporting Muhammad in his mission as a prophet.

When Muhammad was 40 years old, he received the first revelation from God through the angel Gabriel while he was meditating in a cave on Mount Hira. This event marked the beginning of his prophethood and the start of the Islamic religion.

Over the next 23 years, Muhammad received revelations from God, which were later compiled into the Islamic holy book, the Qur'an. He preached the message of monotheism, calling people to worship the one true God, known as Allah, and to reject idolatry and the social injustices prevalent in Meccan society.

Muhammad faced opposition and persecution from the Quraysh leaders and those who were resistant to his message. In 622 CE, due to the escalating persecution, Muhammad and his followers migrated to the city of Medina. This migration, known as the Hijra, marks the beginning of the Islamic calendar.

In Medina, Muhammad established a unified Muslim community, known as the ummah, based on the principles of justice, equality, and compassion. He served as a religious, political, and military leader, guiding the Muslim community and resolving disputes among its members.

Under Muhammad's leadership, the Muslim community grew, and Islam spread across the Arabian Peninsula. In 630 CE, Muhammad and his followers returned to Mecca and peacefully conquered the city. He pardoned his former adversaries and established the Kaaba, the holiest site in Islam, as a center for monotheistic worship.

Prophet Muhammad's final years were focused on consolidating the Muslim community and providing guidance to his followers. He delivered his last sermon during the Hajj pilgrimage in 632 CE, emphasizing the importance of justice, equality, and unity among Muslims.

Prophet Muhammad passed away on June 8, 632 CE, in Medina. His life and teachings continue to inspire millions of Muslims worldwide, and he is considered the final prophet in Islam, completing the line of prophethood that began with Adam and included figures like Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus.
